LUMEN is home to natural health practitioners Teresa Goodin and Corryn Baxter-Pryce who offer a range of wellbeing services including Flower Essences, Card Readings, Herbal Medicine, Traditional Healing (Rongoā, Romiromi, Mirimiri) and Massage (light and deep tissue).


Spiritual Counsellor & Flower Essence Practitioner

Teresa is a Spiritual Counsellor and a specialist in New Zealand Native Flower Essence Therapy. She has studied various pathways to wellbeing including Naturopathy, Psychosynthesis, Meditation and Shamanic Healing. She has been a student with the Medicine Woman Centre for Esoteric and Shamanic Studies since 2011 and studying Buddhism for 15 years, regularly attending intensive silent meditation retreats. From 2015-2016 she studied psychology and counselling with the Institute of Psychosynthesis. In 2018 she became a Buddhist Chaplain apprentice and trained to assist people to pass peacefully.

Olive's Branch Medicine

Corryn was born in Wales and started her journey at a young age with plants and Spirit learning from her Grandmother and nature. Since coming to Aotearoa in 2001 she has been working with a range of Rongoā including herbal medicine, Awenydd (shamanic healing) meditation (hikoi moemoea), acupressure, and mirimiri and romiromi (traditional massage). Corryn is also a certified TARA Approach practitioner which is an energy system that merges gentle pressure on the meridians of the body (Jin Shin) and language that helps to resolve trauma and shock to facilitate healing. For the past 12 years Corryn has been working with traditional Māori Rongoā which she learnt from her mother-in-law Kuia Olive Bullock and her sister Kuia Sue Matangarongo Jones from Nukumaru. Corryn has also worked as an Anthropologist specialising in gender and colonisation and the empowerment of indigenous woman through economic development, a Rehabilitation Facilitator in the justice sector and currently working in Taranaki as a Programme Development Manager supporting community organisations to flourish.
